Rear Hub: Bafang A510 5-Speed Automatic Internal Gear Hub
- Industrial Grade Engineering: Unlike standard bikes with exposed gears that require constant tuning, this system is fully sealed inside a steel shell. It is built to industrial standards to withstand massive torque loads without stripping.
- Automatic Shifting: There are no gear levers and no cables. The hub uses a centrifugal clutch to automatically shift gears based on your speed.

You can configure the Springbok Xtreme with one of two industrial-grade wheelsets:
Option A: Standard All-Terrain (Tube System)
- Tyres: Maxxis Minion / Mammoth 26" x 4.0".
- The Benefit: Excellent durability on hard surfaces, gravel, and rocky paths. The narrower profile offers sharper handling on tight trails while still providing significant comfort. Easy to repair with standard patch kits.
Option B: Pro Dune & Sand (Tubeless Upgrade)
- Tyres: Schwalbe Jumbo Jim 26" x 4.8" TR (Tubeless Ready).
- The Benefit (Flotation): These massive 4.8-inch tyres act like snowshoes, allowing you to float over soft sand where standard bikes would sink.
- The Benefit (Performance): By removing the inner tube and using liquid sealant, you can run extremely low tyre pressures for massive grip without the risk of "pinch flats." The sealant also automatically plugs small thorn punctures while you ride.
