Urban is a torquey powered light-weight electric folding bike. Great for popping in the boot of your car and having an e-bike for commuting wherever you go.

Performance: Super zippy electric folding bike easily cruises up steep hills . The smaller wheels add a superb level of torque. 9 levels of PAS (pedal assist )allows the rider the opportunity to customise the amount of power and speed based on level of fitness or own desired preference.

• Strong durable Chromoly steel Fork.

• 7 Speed Shimano Tourney Twist shifter - easily change gears by easily twisting to change gears.

MOTOR :

• Bafang 500w/48V Geared and Cassette-compatible hub motor system.
• All motor parameters can be re-programmed via a programming cable to suit each riders riding style and preferences. Re-programme your Bafang mid-drive system to improve usability and performance
• Installed into the rear fat bike 20" diameter x 1.50" wide rim with 13G Pillar stainless steel spokes ( Swiss steel).
• The motor drives the wheel directly whilst simultaneously taking advantage of the the gears of the bike to assist the motor like a manual car.
• Torque : 65nM.

• IP: X5 ( Can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray)

BATTERY:

• Cells : Samsung 35 E (3500mAh per cell) 48v 14aH ( 672wH )
• Charger : 54v/3A. With internal cooling fan . South African plug for easy plug in to all wall plugs.
• Charge battery in 3.5 ~ 4 hours.

EXTRAS:

• A Small Thumb Throttle is installed on the handlebar . Since this is a pedal assist e-bike , a throttle is not a must. However many customers have told us that it is helpful when taking off from a stationary position at a stop street , traffic light or on a very steep hill for instant momentum. E-bike Pedal-assist requires a half or a full revolution pedal by the rider before it is activated. A throttle however gives instant momentum instead of delayed power assist which is what someone may need in certain situations.

Chilled Squirrel batteries are covered by a 5 year prorated Limited warranty.

During the first 3 years of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer.

The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on original purchase date .
Frames are covered for 5 years from the date of Purchase.
